Job Description

Bloomberg Philanthropies is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Expert to join our team as a Program Manager. In this role, you will work closely with our team to enhance and improve cybersecurity programs with partner cities, helping them to adopt modern and secure technology solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity management and general technology management, with a minimum of 7 years of experience in the field. They will also possess excellent problem-solving skills, strong organizational design and process management skills, and the ability to think critically and strategically.

The Program Manager will be responsible for developing city-specific cybersecurity strategy and roadmaps, improving city-specific cybersecurity governance programs, and project managing client teams to ensure successful implementation of key projects. They will also collaborate with city officials and IT teams to understand their unique cybersecurity and technology needs and challenges.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of emerging technology trends and their impact on cities, particularly in regards to cybersecurity and technology modernization. They will also have excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex cybersecurity concepts to non-technical audiences.
