Job Summary

Veracity Resourcing and Services is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nursing Assistant to join our team. As a State Tested Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing direct care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a safe and clean environment for residents, adhering to infection control practices and maintaining a high level of hygiene.
  • Respond promptly to resident call lights, ensuring their needs are met in a timely and respectful manner.
  • Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Monitor and report any changes in resident condition to the Shift Charge Nurse, ensuring prompt attention to their needs.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of individualized care plans, working collaboratively with the healthcare team to achieve optimal resident outcomes.
  • Perform various tasks, including serving meals, administering medications, and providing emotional support to residents.
  • Collaborate with the Patient Care Team to ensure seamless care delivery, maintaining open communication and a positive working relationship.
Requirements
  • Certification as a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) or equivalent.
  • Successful completion of a state-approved program for Nursing Assistants.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting, with the ability to push carts and packages as needed.
