Neonatal Education Nurse Specialist

The Neonatal Education Nurse Specialist plays a vital role in the development and implementation of education programs for clinical staff at Nationwide Children's Hospital. This position is responsible for managing the onboarding process, supervising competency processes, and assessing learning needs of clinical staff for the assigned section. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric nursing and education, with a minimum of 3 years of experience as an RN.
Key Responsibilities
* Manages new hire orientations and orientation/onboarding process for clinical staff
* Develops education plans and presents in formal classroom style events or informal group or individual sessions
* Collaborates with leadership and Professional Development on education, competency, and staff development needs of clinical staff
* Participates in committees or projects as identified by leadership
Requirements
* MSN degree
* RN licensure in the State of Ohio
* Minimum 3 years of experience as an RN, with pediatric experience preferred
* Preferred Certification in Professional Development/Education, Leadership or Clinical Specialty
