We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at the Good Samaritan Society. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
Responsibilities- Provide resident-centered care, including daily living assistance, bathing, toileting, grooming, and dressing/undressing.
- Assist with basic health care needs, including vital sign collection, medication administration, and wound care.
- Support residents with meals and snacks, providing water and supplements as needed.
- Participate in departmental/organization committees and task forces as needed.
- High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred.
- Minimum age of 16.
- Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing.
- Satisfactorily completes yearly department specific competency testing and maintains a record of continuing education credits.
