Job DescriptionAt Utah Flour Milling (UFM), we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join our team. This is a critical role that requires a strong understanding of food safety and quality principles, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement quality assurance programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Lead the quality assurance team in conducting regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with regulatory agencies, customers, and suppliers.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and implement best practices in quality assurance.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance, quality control, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of leading quality assurance teams and implementing quality improvement initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and quality principles, including HACCP, GMP, and GFSI.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
