Position Overview

The Psychiatrist plays a crucial role in performing comprehensive psychiatric assessments, offering medication consultations, and collaborating effectively with community prescribers. This role is essential in ensuring that clients are medically stable and suitable for admission to treatment services.

In this capacity, the Psychiatrist will provide pharmacological interventions as necessary and will oversee the requisition and evaluation of any required laboratory tests. The position requires close collaboration with team members to ensure the health and safety of clients throughout their treatment journey.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate must be a Board Eligible or Board-Certified Psychiatrist licensed to practice in the state of Michigan.

Experience Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a behavioral healthcare treatment environment.
  • Previous experience in treating eating disorders is highly preferred.
