We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Northeast Georgia Health System, Inc. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare organization.
Key Responsibilities- Administer and coordinate various treatments related to respiratory problems for patients of all ages.
- Respond to emergency and critical care situations, extending therapy to those patients as needed.
- Assess patients and take the proper course of action to ensure optimal care.
- Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team to provide seamless patient care.
- Consult with medical staff to ensure that treatment plans are executed effectively.
- Manage the ventilatory aspects of patients, including follow-up ABG's and assessment to judge the efficacy of changes made.
- Document all patient information and treatment plans accurately and efficiently.
- Participate in unit practice council and contribute to the development of clinical practice guidelines.
- Licensure or other certifications: Licensed to practice as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of Georgia.
- Educational Requirements: Associate's Degree.
- Minimum Experience: None specified.
- Other: Respiratory Therapy training through an accredited school and successful completion of registry examination.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Good communication skills.
