About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team at Spencer Dental & Braces, a Benevis company. As a key member of our dental care team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and associated services under the general supervision of a dentist.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver quality and compassionate care to every patient, ensuring a positive experience and promoting excellent customer service.
  • Provide direct patient care, including scaling and prophylaxis, x-rays, application of sealants and fluoride, and related procedures, under the general supervision of a dentist.
  • Educate patients and parents in oral hygiene instruction, promoting healthy habits and preventing dental issues.
  • Assess the dental condition and needs of patients, reviewing medical history and providing personalized care.
  • Responsible for adhering to all government regulations and company standards, ensuring a safe and compliant work environment.
  • Guide parents and patients through our entire treatment process, providing clear communication and support.
  • Assist with dental and perio charting, taking x-rays and saving into patient charts as needed.
  • Provide memorable patient experiences by showing compassion and empathy, creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere.
Qualifications
  • Current licensure as a Dental Hygienist in good standing.
  • Experience is great, but not always required; we welcome both new and experienced professionals.
  • Speak another language? That may be very helpful here.
