You Have:

  • Proficiency in C++ and Python
  • Familiarity with software version control and containerization
  • Experience in analyzing user requirements to derive software design and performance specifications
  • Skills in debugging existing software and rectifying defects
  • Capability in designing and coding new software or enhancing existing software to introduce new functionalities
  • Experience in integrating existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments
  • Competence in developing simple data queries for existing or proposed databases or data repositories
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree with 9+ years of experience in software engineering or computer systems architecture, Master's degree with 6+ years of experience, or Doctorate degree with 4+ years of experience in the same fields

Nice If You Have:

  • 14+ years of experience as a software engineer
  • Experience in building or utilizing a discrete event simulator
  • Familiarity with software for control logic or low-level programming on innovative hardware architectures, including custom FPGAs, ASICs, GPUs, Quantum Systems, Digital to Analog Converters, or Analog to Digital Converters

Clearance:

Applicants selected will undergo a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is mandatory.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's unique combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220,000.00 annually. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
