Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Engineering Technician, you will engage in a variety of projects. Please note that the workweek may extend beyond 40 hours during peak construction periods. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting both field and office tasks to advance project goals.
  • Utilizing your extensive knowledge in engineering designs, drafting, sample collection, and construction oversight.
  • Interpreting complex technical drawings, plans, and specifications.
  • Monitoring work progress, documenting activities and quantities, verifying materials, ensuring compliance with plans, and conducting environmental sampling.
  • Providing guidance and mentorship to junior technicians in the field.
  • Creating technical drawings using CAD software.
  • Planning and executing project scopes or segments of larger projects.
  • Preparing calculations, summary reports, and data analyses.
  • Maintaining both field and office equipment.
  • Developing leadership skills to foster independence.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess an associate degree in Surveying Engineering Technology, Engineering Technology, or Construction Technology, along with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience. Additional qualifications include:

  • A valid driver's license.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational abilities.
  • A collaborative team-oriented mindset.
