The CNA role involves providing both direct and indirect nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, adhering to established policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
In addition to bringing your authentic self to work each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

- Six months of prior CNA experience preferred
- Six months of telemetry experience required
- Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English
- Basic computer skills
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- High School diploma or GED required
- Completion of a Nursing Assistant Program required
- State registered CNA license required
- Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Training preferred; CPI training required if sitting with M-1 holds
- Physical Requirements - Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)

Penrose-St. Francis Health Services is a comprehensive, 522-bed acute care provider in Colorado Springs, consisting of Penrose Hospital and St. Francis Medical Center. Penrose Hospital serves as the flagship hospital of Penrose-St.

Francis Health Services, featuring 364 licensed beds and the capability to deliver tertiary (high-tech) medical-surgical services with a focus on elective and outpatient care.

Founded in 1890, Penrose Hospital has evolved into a major health treatment and referral center, specializing in cancer care, cardiac care, emergency trauma care, and physical rehabilitation.

St.

Francis Medical Center was established in 2008 to meet the growing healthcare needs of the Colorado Springs community on the north side of the city.

St.

Francis Medical Center offers 172 beds and includes a modern Birth Center, Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Pediatric Care Unit, Emergency Department, Level III Trauma Center, Imaging Services, Surgical Services, and Critical Care Unit.

It also serves as the southern Colorado base for the Flight For Life Colorado air medical helicopter service.
