Job Summary

The Saw Shop Operator is a critical role within our organization, responsible for setting up and operating power saws to slot, cut, and trim wooden pallets. As a key member of our team, you will be expected to work efficiently and effectively to meet production demands.

  • Operate power saws to cut and trim wood pallets with precision and accuracy.

Work Environment

The work environment for this role is fast-paced and dynamic, with a focus on efficiency and productivity. You will be required to work in a warehouse setting, with exposure to various weather conditions and physical demands.

  • Ability to work in extreme conditions, including heat, cold, and air particulate.
  • Repetitively lift up to 50-75 pounds and adjust body position to bend, stoop, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for extended periods.
  • Regularly required to sit, talk, hear, walk, and use hands to handle, feel, and reach.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required, including eye protection, ear protection, and safety shoes.
  • Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, and color vision.
  • Must have a good sense of balance and good eye-hand-foot coordination.
