About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Team Member to join our team at Holiday by Atria - Las Brisas. As a key member of our Dining Services team, you will be responsible for preparing nutritious, appetizing, and attractive meals for our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and follow menus and food-production instructions to ensure high-quality meals are served to our residents.
  • Oversee the preparation and set-up of serving carts to serve nutritious food in a punctual manner.
  • Follow food safe handling procedures in preparation, as well as proper procedures for covering, labeling, dating, and storing food.
  • Ensure logs are accurately completed in a timely manner, including refrigerator, freezer, and production sheets.
  • Follow sanitation standards by effectively cleaning while working, including preparation and serving areas, pots and pans, kitchen surfaces, walls, and floors.
  • Focus on resident satisfaction and resolve any food-compliant issues as needed.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in industry or full-service restaurant cooking.
  • Ability to prepare and follow Vacation recipes.
  • Effective communication in English and excellent customer service skills.
  • General knowledge of and ability to conform to sanitation and safe food handling practices.
  • Basic Computer skills preferred.
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $19.00/hr - $21.85/hr, dependent on prior work history and experience. Our benefits package also includes Health, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance, as well as Retirement Savings Plan / 401(k) employer match and Tuition reimbursement (U.S Based Communities).
