Assistant Director of Nursing Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing to join our team at Canterbury Center in Shepherdstown, WV. As a key member of our nursing leadership team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and achieving positive clinical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to develop and implement clinical operations strategies that align with the organization's mission and goals.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, including performance evaluations, coaching, and mentoring.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures.
  • Develop and manage budgets for the nursing department.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and quality patient care.
Requirements:
  • Current RN license in the state of WV.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in nursing supervision, with at least 2 years in a long-term care setting.
  • Knowledge of MDS process, state nurse practice acts, and state and federal regulations.
  • On-call availability required.
