About the Role:

HCA Florida Putnam Hospital is seeking a skilled Clinical Dietitian to join our healthcare team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the processes in place to ensure patients' nutritional needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for patients and develop personalized diet plans.
  • Assess, plan, write, and evaluate patient diets to ensure optimal nutrition and health outcomes.
  • Provide education and counseling to patients on dietary restrictions and recommendations.
  • Direct and supervise personnel in food preparation and service to patients.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient reactions to prescribed diets.
  • Utilize knowledge of age-specific needs to perform duties and responsibilities effectively.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Foods and Nutrition or Dietetics from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in an acute care facility.
  • Current Commission on Dietetic Registration and State Certified Dietitian.
  • New graduates must pass the Registration Examination for Dietitians within 30 days of the start date.
