KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
REGULATORY COMPLIANCE:
- Ensure adherence to all applicable local, state, accreditation, and federal regulations.
- Maintain the integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality of institutional files, documents, and reports.
- Uphold compliance with all organizational policies and procedures.
- Accurately manage timekeeping records.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Perform all tasks with the utmost professionalism and ethical standards.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in aircraft.
- Repair essential components such as wings, brakes, and electrical systems.
- Replace faulty parts utilizing hand and power tools.
- Inspect replacement parts for quality and defects.
- Refer to maintenance manuals to determine appropriate repair methods.
- Utilize diagnostic equipment to test aircraft components.
- Review completed work to ensure it meets established performance criteria.
- Document all maintenance and repair activities accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness in the workshop as necessary.
- Be available for weekend work as required.
- Willingness to travel on short notice for work-related purposes.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
A&P certification is mandatory. A minimum of one year of relevant experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Demonstrated ability to engage professionally with diverse individuals. Capacity to thrive under pressure, manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and navigate unexpected challenges. Proficiency in technology is essential.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
Travel for conferences and training may necessitate overnight stays, with the duration determined by company requirements and event schedules. Candidates must possess a reliable vehicle for safe transportation.
LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business communications, financial reports, legal documents, and government reports. Proficient in responding to inquiries from students, regulatory bodies, or business community members. Capable of writing correspondence and effectively presenting information to students and management.
MATH SKILLS:
Competence in basic arithmetic operations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute percentages and interpret graphical data.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to identify problems, gather data, establish facts, and draw logical conclusions. Capable of interpreting a wide range of instructions and managing both abstract and concrete variables.
