Job Title: Periodic Maintenance Technician

Pape Material Handling Inc. is seeking a skilled Periodic Maintenance Technician to join their team in Bakersfield, CA.

As a Periodic Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing periodic maintenance on all makes and models of forklifts, as well as performing minor equipment repairs such as lights, belts, engine tune-ups, and hoses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance on forklifts and other equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Conduct minor repairs and adjustments to equipment as needed.
  • Inspect and test equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Document maintenance and repair activities in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and supervisors to ensure seamless service delivery.

Requirements:

  • 1 or more years of experience servicing electric and internal combustion lift trucks and construction equipment.
  • Self-motivation and assertive attitude.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Ability to work under little or no supervision.
  • Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
  • Driver's license with a good driving record.
  • Must have own tools.
