Job Overview

The selected candidate will deliver expert technical assistance for Navy ERP software applications in alignment with the Naval Information Warfare System Command. Responsibilities include reviewing documentation and providing technical solutions and insights that necessitate comprehensive knowledge of the ERP Material Management module, data structures, and ERP business principles across various operational processes and data solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee Purchase Requisition Processing support, addressing Line of Account, Unit of Measure, and Fund Code issues, as well as managing Purchase Requisition releases.
  • Facilitate Purchase Order Processing support, resolving Unit of Measure discrepancies, Vendor issues, and manual creation challenges between Purchase Requests and Purchase Orders.
  • Assist with Goods Receipt processes, providing guidance on the accurate creation and correction of Goods Receipts and Service Entry sheets, alongside troubleshooting for Goods Receipts (MIGO).
  • Conduct research and resolve issues related to requisitions and obligations.
  • Identify and rectify IDOC errors.
  • Support Funding Document processes, including research and analysis, remediation of failed documents, and investigating Workflow Errors that hinder the generation or updating of Purchase Orders and Sales Orders.
  • Investigate Workflow and Interface errors to resolve issues preventing PR interfacing with SPS/SeaPort.
  • Provide guidance and assistance for command PR and PO in resolving contract award or modification issues that do not interface correctly.
  • Support both current and future versions of Navy ERP as adopted by the Navy during the performance period.
  • Assist with OM&S conversion and correction efforts, troubleshooting incorrect postings using MM table queries or reporting tools.
  • Triage NHDSM tickets to resolution.
  • Act as a liaison to T3 for addressing the Top 10 defects to ensure NAVWAR requirements are met.
  • Provide input for FDS reviews to ensure NAVWAR requirements are satisfied.
  • Conduct unit and integration testing of new MM functionalities and system requirements.
  • Possess familiarity with Unique Material Master system requirements and functionalities.

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in the design, development, implementation, and deployment of financial systems, including module configuration on:
    • At least two different SAP implementations, or
    • Five (5) years of experience with Navy ERP.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in the assigned SAP module.
  • Experience as a Lead Tester in unit and integration testing, including the preparation of test plans and documentation of results, with effective communication to end users.
  • Proficient in writing Functional Requirements Specifications (FRS), Functional Design Specifications (FDS), Technical Design Specifications (TDS), Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Conversion Programs, Interfaces, end-to-end Process Maps, and Technical White papers for SAP-based ERP solutions.
  • Specific experience with Navy ERP General and Working Capital funds.
  • Willingness to travel as required by customer needs.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in Business Process Improvement is highly desirable.
  • Experience with the IM/WM module is highly desirable.

Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree.

Compensation: $155,000-$165,000. Actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.
