Action Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Energy team as a Statewide Energy Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting our mission to provide energy efficiency services to community members in need.
Key Responsibilities- Assign and manage energy efficiency projects with contractors and vendors, ensuring timely completion and quality of work.
- Monitor project progress, conduct quality control inspections, and process project closeout documentation.
- Collaborate with the Lead Vendor Implementation (LVI) initiative to ensure efficient processing of work orders, invoices, and customer requests.
- Provide technical support and guidance to contractors and vendors, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct post-inspections to ensure that work performed meets the required standard.
- Respond to client, contractor, and vendor inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure accurate and timely data reporting to management and funding sources.
- Participate in departmental and organization-wide meetings, contributing to the development of energy efficiency programs and services.
- 5 years' experience in building/construction trades and/or energy efficiency work.
- Building Performance Institute (BPI) certifications preferred.
- Drivers' license required and reliable daily transportation.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, stand, kneel, and sit for long periods.
- Able to lift and climb ladders.
- Can lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
