Job Summary

As a Technical Support Specialist, you will provide specialized technical services, consulting, and advice related to electric distribution or transmission for business projects or operating distribution, substation, or transmission assets. Your goal will be to guarantee a reliable, efficient, and safe management of assets and mechanical, electrical, and control systems and components.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and consulting services to business projects or operating distribution, substation, or transmission assets.
  • Develop and implement homogeneous criteria and technical best practices for equipment standards.
  • Conduct technical studies prior to the construction of distribution, substation, or transmission infrastructure related to energy flow, optimal facility location, and other technical requirements.
  • Perform project start-up activities, including pre-commissioning and equipment start-up and synchronizing.
  • Work under prescribed procedures with a moderate level of supervision.

Requirements

  • Vocational training or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work in a hands-on environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical distribution and transmission systems.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
