About the Role:

Newport Mental Health is seeking a skilled Clinical Therapist to join our Intensive In-Home Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Services (IICAPS) program. As a Clinical Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive mental health care to children and adolescents with severe emotional and behavioral issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide home-based assessment, diagnosis, and treatment to children and families.
  • Deliver comprehensive mental health services to children, parents, and families in various settings.
  • Maintain client records and serve as liaison with outside agencies and referral services.
  • Coordinate team services to comply with recovery plans and demonstrate innovative problem-solving, crisis intervention, and management skills.
  • Collaborate within a team to offer interventions including therapy, crisis response, consultation, advocacy, and linkages.
  • Work with other professionals to ensure adherence to IICAPS credentialing requirements and collaborate closely with the IICAPS Team Leader.
  • Conduct evaluations and assist in formulating recovery goals and strategies for families and teams.

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in social work, psychology, counseling, family therapy, or a related clinical field.
  • Experience providing individual, group, and family psychosocial assessments and treatment.
  • Demonstrate expertise in assessment, crisis intervention, and child and family therapy, focusing on diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Have a solid commitment to your work and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
