Compensation: $85,000 annually

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Services, Social Sciences, or Criminal Justice is required; a Master's Degree in a related field is preferred
  • Familiarity with Evidence-Based Treatment and Programs for Criminal Justice populations
  • Preferred experience in overseeing multiple programs
  • A minimum of 3 years of management or supervisory experience is essential
  • Experience in corrections or directing services within a secure environment is advantageous
  • Virginia Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) credentials must be obtained within 2 years of employment and maintained in good standing
Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborating closely with personnel from the Virginia Department of Corrections (VA DOC) to ensure compliance with contracts, accountability, quality of care, and customer satisfaction
  • Maintaining a high level of responsiveness, including after-hours and on-call communications
  • Overseeing the implementation, administration, and monitoring of designated correctional treatment programs in the western region, while assisting the Area Director with sites requiring special attention and acting as Area Director in their absence
