Lead Automotive Technician Specialist

A high-performing Lead Automotive Technician Specialist is required to lead a team of skilled technicians in diagnosing and repairing complex automotive systems. The successful candidate will have excellent technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.

This exciting opportunity at Firestone Complete Auto Care offers a unique blend of technical challenge and leadership responsibility. As a Lead Automotive Technician Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Diagnosing and repairing drivability and electrical systems to manufacturer specifications
- Mentoring and guiding a team of technicians to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver exceptional customer service
- Staying up-to-date with the latest automotive technology through continuous paid training and development
- Collaborating with colleagues to resolve technical issues and improve process efficiency
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in automotive repair, including completion of a vocational-technical school program or equivalent qualifications
- A.S.E. certification in at least 3 areas (A1-A8) or external equivalent certifications
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to explain complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
