Job Title: Business Intelligence Analyst II

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Analyst II to join our team at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. As a key member of our Business Insights team, you will play a critical role in developing and maintaining data analytic assets to support predictive modeling, research goals, and operational process evaluations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create data analytic assets, including data marts and Tableau dashboards, to support business intelligence initiatives.
  • Work with business users to understand their needs, gather requirements, and translate them into functional specifications.
  • Design and optimize multidimensional data models to support efficient reporting.
  • Identify project risks and impediments, advise management, and proactively work with the team to complete tasks.
  • Assist in the development of data governance processes to ensure data integrity.
  • Create ad-hoc queries and reports.
  • Develop test plans to assure the functionality and integrity of reporting solutions.
  • Provide leadership and technical guidance to identify system deficiencies and implement corrective action.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience developing reporting solutions against relational and dimensional data in a multi-platform environment.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL programming, relational database design principles, and Tableau/data visualization tools.
  • Experience with DB2, R, and Python programming a plus.
  • Experience with Databricks and DBT a plus.
  • Exposure to SAFe or agile methodologies a bonus.
