Job Summary

The Pilot in Command is responsible for the safe conduct of flights, exercising operational control and supervising crew members as required. The ideal candidate will reside in or be willing to relocate to San Antonio, Texas, and hold a valid FAA ATP certificate and BE-200PL21 and C-90 PIC Qualification.

Responsibilities
  • Comply with duties and responsibilities contained within AirMed International's general operating manual.
  • Ensure the aircraft is ready for mission in coordination with AirMed's global operations center.
  • Comply with all applicable FARs and OpSpecs.
  • Ensure that all pertinent information about flight operations will be disseminated through the operational control structure.
  • Conduct themselves in a professional manner, being sensitive to the environment at all times.
  • Attend meetings when required and may be required to attend training and check-flights outside of normal duty shift rotations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Director of Operations or Chief Pilot.
Requirements
  • Reside in or be willing to relocate to San Antonio, Texas.
  • Hold a valid FAA ATP certificate.
  • Hold BE-200PL21 and C-90 PIC Qualification.
  • Meet minimum qualifications as specified by Federal Aviation Regulation Part 135.
  • Hold a First Class Medical Certificate and maintain First Class Privileges.
  • Hold a valid US Passport.
Physical Demands
  • Must be able to walk, bend, stand, sit, crouch unassisted for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift 70 pounds.
  • Must be able to work day and night shift.
  • Must be able to transport themselves to and from work.
