As a Nuclear Medicine Specialist, you will be responsible for performing nuclear medicine procedures to diagnose and treat various medical conditions. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring patient safety and accurate imaging in nuclear medicine settings. Collaboration with the radiology team is crucial for optimal patient care.

Key Responsibilities

Perform nuclear medicine procedures to diagnose and treat various medical conditions.
Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients for imaging purposes.
Operate gamma cameras and other nuclear medicine equipment to acquire images.
Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures, providing clear instructions and monitoring vital signs.
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret images and provide accurate diagnostic information.

Requirements

ARRT (N) certification
BLS certifications
Two years of recent nuclear medicine experience
Strong communication and adaptability skills
