Job Description

At Andrews Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Scheduling Coordinator to join our team. This role will play a crucial part in ensuring seamless patient scheduling and operations within the clinic.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work under pressure, and maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive patient information.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate patient appointments for non-operative sports medicine physicians using established templates.
  • Process patients efficiently into the system while providing exceptional customer service.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with patients and colleagues through effective interpersonal skills.
  • Update daily schedules as necessary and respond to inquiries regarding patient appointments.
  • Assist in preparing clinic charts and completing tasks delegated by management.
  • Precertify patients for MRI procedures and coordinate precerts for VISCO appointments.
  • Ensure timely submission of completed dictations to the Business Office.
Requirements:
  • High School Graduate or equivalent required.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
Compensation:

The estimated salary range for this position is $45,000-$55,000 annually, depending on experience.
