Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Board Certified Behavior Analyst to join our team at Soliant. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and developing individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) to support students with challenging behaviors.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough FBAs to identify the underlying causes of challenging behaviors exhibited by students.
  • Develop and implement BIPs based on FBA findings, utilizing evidence-based strategies and techniques.
  • Provide training and support to staff members on the effective implementation of BIPs, ensuring consistent and appropriate interventions.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of BIPs by collecting and analyzing data on student behavior.
  • Collaborate closely with school personnel, parents, and community agencies to ensure student needs are met and interventions are consistent across environments.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, offering valuable input on goal development and behavior management.
  • Stay current with the latest research and best practices in behavior analysis, sharing knowledge with school staff to foster continuous improvement.
Qualifications
  • Valid Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential.
  • Previous experience working with students with disabilities and challenging behaviors in a school setting preferred but not required.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills to effectively collaborate with school personnel, parents, and community agencies.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state laws pertaining to special education and behavior management in schools.
