Job Summary

The GIANT Company is seeking a skilled Cashier Assistant to join our team. As a Cashier Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Provide exceptional customer service and respond to customer inquiries
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the checkout area and surrounding areas
  • Restock shelves and maintain inventory levels
  • Assist with special projects and tasks as directed by management

Requirements
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Must be able to communicate and understand company policies and safety regulations
  • Must meet the ergonomic and physical requirements for this position
  • Must be able to use, or learn to use, the equipment and tools used to perform this job

Physical Requirements
  • Shift hours: minimum 4-hour shifts or more depending upon business needs
  • Job cycles: continual max
  • Lift/carry: 50 lbs.
  • Stand 55%, sit 0%, walk 45%
