Job Summary

The PT Cashier role at The GIANT Company is a dynamic opportunity to join our team of dedicated professionals. As a PT Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor and checkout areas.
  • Restock shelves and merchandise as needed.
  • Assist with special projects and tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Must be able to communicate and understand company policies and safety regulations.
  • Must meet the ergonomic and physical requirements for this position.
  • Must be able to use, or learn to use, the equipment and tools used to perform this job.
  • Must complete the company introductory (probationary) period of 30 or 60 days.

Physical Requirements
  • Shift hours: minimum 4-hour shifts or more depending upon business needs.
  • Job cycles: continual max.
  • Lift/carry: 50 lbs.
  • Stand 55%, sit 0%, walk 45%.
