About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and distribution of food items, stocking and storing supplies, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and distribution of food items in areas serviced by Food and Nutrition Services.
  • Stock and store supplies, including food, disposables, dishes, utensils, and other necessary items.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to prescribed safety practices and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues, demonstrating excellent customer service skills.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare food service setting, preferably.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and demands.
