Job Summary

Prisma Health is seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team. As a key member of our echocardiography lab, you will perform high-quality exams, provide exceptional patient care, and contribute to a collaborative and dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a range of echocardiography exams, including 2-D, M-Mode, Doppler, and color flow Doppler imaging, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Rotate to multiple lab locations as scheduled, ensuring timely patient care and participating in the daily workflow.
  • Operate lab testing equipment, software packages, and EMR systems, maintaining up-to-date maintenance logs and reporting equipment issues.
  • Attend staff and departmental meetings, staying informed about changes in the field and participating in educational conferences.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Radiology or Sonography from a formal program.
  • 1 year of experience in echo sonography, with a focus on non-invasive cardiac ultrasound studies.
Preferred Qualifications
  • ARDMS RDCS or CCI RCS certification.
  • Thorough knowledge of vascular anatomy and hemodynamics.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in office equipment.
