Role Purpose

The Production Support Associate plays a crucial role in executing various labor tasks within the production facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Consistent physical presence is required.
  • Ability to adhere to instructions, including standard operational procedures and protocols.
  • Assist on the production floor in the creation of our quality pizza products, following established operating procedures.
  • Engage in production line activities to support the manufacturing of our offerings, adhering to all production standards (including re-casing, repackaging, and other product adjustments as assigned).
  • Comply with all safety regulations, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), quality standards, plant policies, and food safety requirements.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Feed pans and trays to the production line while ensuring the line operates efficiently.
  • Apply shipping labels to packages at the designated rate.
  • Prepare and manage materials and equipment at the beginning, during, and end of production.
  • Ensure all production codes and labels are printed accurately and legibly according to product specifications.
  • Verify that all packaging and materials align with SKU formulas and maintain visual integrity.
  • Ability to work in cold environments.
  • Read codes and adjust coder machines as necessary.
  • At the conclusion of the production shift, return all unused materials to their designated locations in accordance with standard procedures, and ensure all coding and taping machines are turned off and cleaned for the next shift.

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedural manuals.
  • Capable of writing simple correspondence and effectively communicating information in both one-on-one and small group settings with customers, colleagues, and vendors.
  • Proficient in basic arithmetic operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
  • Willingness to participate in Production Improvement Teams and other temporary teams as assigned or volunteered.
  • Aptitude for addressing problems involving multiple concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Ability to conduct basic troubleshooting to identify issues, gather data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Willingness and ability to train fellow associates.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

  1. Good physical health and capability to thrive in a high-energy environment.
  2. Must be able to regularly lift or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
