Job Overview
We are in search of a Senior Business Analyst with a minimum of 5 years of expertise in drafting business functional requirements for technology-driven projects. The role encompasses responsibilities such as thorough documentation, gap analysis, and the application of methodologies including Waterfall and Agile. The candidate will be expected to spearhead requirements gathering, generate project analysis documentation, and facilitate meetings throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
• Comprehensive Documentation
Develops detailed documentation and diagrams that illustrate business processes, use cases, data mapping, and other pertinent elements.
• Gap and Root Cause Analysis
Performs gap and root cause analysis to uncover essential needs and potential areas for enhancement.
• Methodology Application
Employs Waterfall, Agile, and Iterative methodologies to translate solutions into detailed requirements and user stories.
• Project Analysis Documentation
Creates necessary project analysis documentation, which includes business requirements, scope matrices, use cases, sequence diagrams, data mapping, and business process flows.
• Facilitation of Meetings
Leads requirements walkthroughs, design review sessions, and demonstrations at all organizational levels, including executive management.
• Project Engagement
Contributes to multiple projects by completing and updating project documentation, managing project scope, adjusting timelines as needed, determining daily priorities, and ensuring the timely delivery of project tasks and milestones.
Qualifications
Experience:
• A minimum of five (5) years of relevant professional experience in drafting business functional requirements with an emphasis on technical projects.
• Proven experience in a collaborative project team environment.
• Strong background in documentation is essential.
Skills:
• Proficient in writing business functional requirements
• Expertise in project documentation
• Familiarity with methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Iterative)
• Proficient in MS Teams
