Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of environmental health professionals to ensure compliance with applicable laws, codes, regulations, and ordinances.
- Conduct environmental inspections and investigations to identify and address potential environmental health hazards.
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve improved environmental health standards and promote public health and safety.
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination of environmental health initiatives.
- Prepare and present technical reports, recommendations, and findings to senior management and other stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices to ensure compliance and effective implementation of environmental health programs.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as environmental science, public health, or a related field.
- At least 6 years of experience in environmental health, with a focus on program management, policy development, and public health promotion.
- Strong knowledge of environmental health laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve shared goals and objectives.
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
