Job Summary:
The Burke Center Adult Mental Health Clinic is seeking a skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse to provide primary care nursing services to clients at our Integrated Care Clinic. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for assisting medical professionals with client care, taking vital signs, documenting medications, administering injections, and performing various nursing assessments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist medical professionals with client care and provide primary nursing services
- Take vital signs, document medications, and administer injections as needed
- Perform nursing assessments, including EKGs and lab work
- Provide timely documentation of all services, including client education and medication inventory
- Coordinate with medical professionals to ensure seamless client care
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and licensure as a Licensed Vocational Nurse in the state of Texas
- One year of experience working in a medical setting, preferably in a mental health setting
- Valid Texas driver's license and a driving record insurable by Burke's insurance administrator
Working Conditions:
This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment, with frequent interactions with clients, medical professionals, and other staff members. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with strong communication and organizational skills.
Salary and Benefits:
