Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit team at Longmont United Hospital. As an ICU RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care and develop individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between departments.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in their condition, taking prompt action to address any concerns.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure clear understanding and coordination of care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in critical care nursing.
Requirements
  • RN License required; Current state nursing licenses or RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact.
  • Nursing Diploma or Associates Degree in Nursing required; Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred.
  • BLS from the American Heart Association required.
  • One year experience preferred.
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required for new graduates, preferred for experienced RN's.
