Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit team at UChealth Longs Peak Hospital. As an ICU RN, you will provide top-notch patient care, utilizing the nursing process to deliver evidence-based care. You will also have the opportunity to precept new nurses and contribute to a culture of safety and quality.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care in a technically complex environment, utilizing AACN's Synergy Model and specialty certification standards.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Precept new nurses and contribute to the development of a culture of safety and quality.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and evidence-based care.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program.
  • 6 months of ICU or PCU (Progressive Care Unit) nursing experience or completion of the UChealth Fellowship program.
