About the Role:

Festival Foods is seeking a skilled Meat Clerk to join our team. As a Meat Clerk, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction and providing exceptional service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to guests, answering questions and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Assist guests with finding items on or off the sales floor, taking orders and special requests, and addressing concerns in a timely and effective manner.
  • Monitor and maintain the quality and presentation of meat products, ensuring they meet company standards.
  • Rotate stock, using the first-in, first-out method, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Take temperatures of products regularly and maintain accurate inventory and temperature logs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, providing excellent customer service and maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well with a diverse team.
  • Knowledge of meat products, including cuts, preparation methods, and cooking techniques.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
