Role Overview

We seek a forward-thinking and relationship-oriented leader with a comprehensive understanding of K-12 education, higher education, and workforce development. The Program Officer will oversee current grantees and explore new investments within the Skills for the New Economy and Pathways to Quality Employment portfolios.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Development: Collaborate with senior leadership to shape and implement strategic objectives, revising program strategies as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Research & Grantmaking: Identify and evaluate potential partner organizations, conducting thorough due diligence and maintaining communication with grantees to monitor progress.
  • External Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with community partners, representing TBF at various forums to strengthen alliances and foster collaboration.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in education, workforce development, or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of diverse communities within the L.A. region and a proven track record of engagement.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to represent TBF effectively.
  • Proficiency in database management tools and adaptability to new technologies.
