Job Description

Synergy is seeking an experienced Senior Application Developer to join our team. As a key member of our STE/STN initiative, you will be responsible for developing capabilities to shift from the current manual system security evaluation and authorization process to a new model that emphasizes automation, streamlined processes and approvals, continuous monitoring and assessment, and network data gathering across the entire life cycle of a project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess interoperability of enterprise IT metadata.
  • Create custom applications/mechanisms to ingest a variety of data stores.
  • Development of data management infrastructure and associated tools.
  • Save and destroy data based on rules.
  • Ensure quality and usability.
  • Create tools to provide automated reports and information about systems performance to facilitate decisions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and eight (8) years of experience in contracts or programs of similar scope type and complexity.
  • In lieu of a degree, twelve (12) years of relevant experience in contracts or programs of similar scope type and complexity will qualify a candidate for consideration.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiar with cloud development.
  • Experience working with data ingest and manipulation (ETL).
  • Database experience (Elasticsearch, SQL).
  • Data manipulation and configuration (Java, Python).
  • Linux.

Clearance Required:

The qualified individual must be fully cleared in current access with the appropriate MPO client polygraph.
