Job OpportunityWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Materials Engineering Intern to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Supporting daily manufacturing and supply chain activities, including disposition of non-conforming products and review of raw material supplier documentation.
- Developing and updating internal Material Specifications to industry standards and customer requirements.
- Participating in design reviews for material selection and recommendations.
- Conducting failure analysis and investigations.
The Intern will also have the opportunity to learn about:
- Requirements for Materials applicable to the Oil and Gas industry.
- Applying textbook knowledge to solve engineering problems.
- Hands-on experience with material testing and qualifications.
To be considered for this role, candidates must:
- Be currently enrolled and working toward completion of a Bachelor or Graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Have a minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Possess good interpersonal skills to drive collaboration across multiple functions.
- Be able to work independently or within a larger team as required by the project and subsystem.
- Have familiarity with Microsoft office products, including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Exhibit excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Have strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Display a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis, now or in the future, without employer sponsorship for employment visa status.
