Position Summary
Act as the primary point of contact for the IT Department, providing essential support for all technological systems by addressing Help Desk inquiries and delivering prompt resolutions to our staff. Demonstrate a strong understanding of the banking environment and exhibit the capability to diagnose and rectify issues related to hardware and software using remote management tools with minimal oversight. In this role, assistance may be provided to employees either in person or via telephone. If remote troubleshooting is insufficient, travel to the employee's location may be necessary. The ideal candidate will possess an associate degree in computer science along with advanced computer skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to phone calls and emails from staff members.
- Assist employees in resolving their issues remotely.
- Address more complex problems in person.
- Document each IT support request in the ticketing system.
- Maintain necessary documentation as required.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Act as a technical representative on IT projects or specific IT domains, such as PC requisitions, equipment inventory, new product launches, and equipment repair processes.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Manager.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
An associate's degree or equivalent experience in installing, supporting, and troubleshooting hardware peripherals, along with providing desktop software support.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
This entry-level position requires a genuine interest and aptitude for working in the IT sector.
Strong analytical capabilities, self-motivation, and a customer-centric approach are essential.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with TCP/IP and DNS.
- Background in troubleshooting and resolving help desk inquiries.
- Familiarity with network connectivity and cabling troubleshooting.
- Experience in installing, configuring, and maintaining client hardware and software.
