We are seeking a highly skilled HVAC Building Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Fox Service Company. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of our air conditioning and heating systems, as well as fire prevention equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform hands-on maintenance and repair of HVAC systems, including air conditioning and heating units, chillers, and cooling towers.
- Operate and maintain fire prevention equipment, including fire pumps, standpipes, sprinkler systems, and Class E fire alarm systems.
- Supervise external vendors for large equipment repairs and communicate effectively with management on current and outstanding issues.
- Organize and prioritize work orders, utilizing Outlook and Building Management systems.
- Ensure compliance with water treatment procedures for closed-loop and open-loop systems.
- Certification as an Operating Engineer with Refrigeration of FDNY COF Q-01/99 and CFC Licenses.
- Standpipe/Sprinkler S-12 & S-13 COFs and other FDNY certificates a plus.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in HVAC plant operations and plumbing experience.
- Ability to work flexible hours and various shifts, including overnight.
