Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Busser to join our team at Gjelina LA. As a Busser, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dining room, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clear and reset tables in a timely manner, maintaining a high level of cleanliness and organization.
  • Provide full operational support during service, including assisting with soft beverage orders, coffee and tea orders, and delivering food to guests.
  • Assist the Expediter, Servers, and Managers as needed to ensure seamless service.
  • Maintain a high level of customer service focus, responding promptly to guest needs and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve department goals and maintain a positive and respectful work environment.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a restaurant or related environment.
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to use all relevant items of equipment.
  • Understanding of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures.
  • Ability to prioritize work activities, provide accurate information, and assist with requests in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, maintain a high level of energy, and adapt to changing situations.
Working Conditions

The work environment may be moderate to loud, and surrounding areas may be wet, hot/cold, slippery, or humid. The physical demands of this role include standing and walking for long periods, lifting and moving up to 20 pounds, and working with restaurant equipment and dishware.
