Job Details:
  • Position: School Psychologist

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate cognitive, academic, emotional, and behavioral functioning of students
  • Interpret assessment results and provide recommendations for educational programming and interventions
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to students as needed
  • Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student support strategies
Requirements:
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
  • Valid license or certification as a School Psychologist in the state of New Mexico
Qualifications:
  • Experience working in a school setting preferred
  • Strong assessment and evaluation skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
