Senior Memory System Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Memory System Architect to join our team at Ampere Computing. As a key member of our architecture team, you will be responsible for defining memory architecture at the system level and providing expert guidance to implementation, pre- and post-silicon verification teams.
Key Responsibilities- Define memory system IP architecture and microarchitecture to meet customer requirements, maximize performance, and optimize power efficiency
- Work with design team to define microarchitecture of memory system IPs and surrounding logic
- Collaborate with memory and platform performance team to identify and analyze performance issues and resolve bottlenecks using appropriate analysis techniques
- Drive decisions using a data-driven approach
- Contribute to the development of future specifications and standards for DRAM and memory technology
- BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science and 12 years of experience; or MS degree and 8 years of experience; or PhD degree and 5 years of experience
- Extensive understanding of memory security and RAS features and architecture
- In-depth expertise with memory system performance analysis, bottleneck analysis, etc.
- Proficient in scripting languages
- Great communication skills, comfortable with reaching out and asking questions
At Ampere Computing, we believe in taking care of our employees and providing a competitive total rewards package that includes base pay, bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits. The full base pay range for this role is between $163,100 and $271,900, except in the San Francisco Bay Area where the range is between $171,800 and $286,300.
