Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at the Kansas City Area Transportation Authority. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for delivering culturally sensitive, competent behavioral health services to clients under the supervision of the Behavioral Health Director.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess and diagnose mental health issues and develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals and objectives.
- Provide individual and group counseling, facilitate outpatient treatment, and document progress.
- Work effectively with other community and State agencies to provide a collaborative continuum of care for mutual clients.
- Provide information and outreach intervention services to Tribal members as requested.
- Participate in required clinical staffing and weekly supervision within the Behavioral Health Department.
- Ph.D. degree in Clinical/Counseling Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Permanent, full, and unrestricted license to practice Psychology in the State of Alaska or another state.
- Two to five years of clinical field work experience, with a background in communicating and interacting effectively in cross-cultural situations.
The environment involves the usual risks and stress of an office environment within a public service facility. The employee may be exposed to communicable diseases and may be subject to verbal abuse, threats, and physical violence from angry, hostile, or disgruntled patients and/or family members.
