Key Responsibilities

  • Execute assembly tasks in accordance with established protocols and specifications, with a strong emphasis on precision and quality.
  • Employ a range of hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to assemble intricate aerospace components.
  • Perform visual inspections and quality assessments to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and customer expectations.
  • Identify and resolve assembly challenges, collaborating with engineering teams to implement effective solutions.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized workspace, adhering to safety standards and best practices consistently.
  • Document assembly processes, including any deviations or non-conformities encountered during production.
  • Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of assembly methods and techniques to boost efficiency and productivity.
  • Engage in cross-functional teams and assist in the development of new manufacturing processes and technologies.
  • Comply with stringent standards and regulatory requirements governing aerospace manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in aerospace or manufacturing is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in aerospace assembly or a related field, with a solid understanding of mechanical principles and assembly techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical specifications proficiently.
  • Hands-on experience with various hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment commonly utilized in aerospace manufacturing.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional manual dexterity and the capacity to work with precision in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the capability to troubleshoot technical issues independently or collaboratively.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to work well with cross-functional teams.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement in all aspects of assembly operations.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules as necessary in a dynamic manufacturing setting.

Work Schedule

  • Full-time: Monday-Friday 8am-6pm
  • Overtime Pay Available
