Dental Hygiene Specialist

At Aspen Dental, we prioritize our patients' care and well-being. As a Dental Hygiene Specialist, you will play a crucial role in developing patient care plans alongside the doctor, using the American Academy of Periodontology (AAP) guidelines.
About the RoleYou will be responsible for managing your schedule to allow for comprehensive patient care and education. Additionally, you will expand your knowledge and skills through structured continuing professional development, working collaboratively with other members of the dental team to provide exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities- Develop patient care plans alongside the doctor, utilizing AAP guidelines
- Manage scheduling to ensure comprehensive patient care and education
- Expand knowledge and skills through continuing professional development
- Collaborate with dental team members to deliver exceptional patient care
- Associate degree or higher in dental hygiene from an accredited institution
- Active dental hygiene license in the state of practice
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages and backgrounds
